Haiti

It used to be that when people cooperate like in this case of Haiti disaster, I got the feels of unity. But now that the familiar faces in the news, it makes me feel uneasy -- partly because whatever went wrong come up in my head, like how bad things were then. To come to think of it, many things have improved. Because we are in good hands. Can you seriously believe in someone who are boasting of killing people outside the country, when -- you know that it does not have to be that way?

My hope is that they stop telling me that the Pakistani people killed are justified in such a ridiculous way as they being -- quite like my "personal" enemies. The people killed are the people got killed, never to resurrect, never to talk, never to life. How it is that they change the lives of people up there -- to think of how responsible they are, and ultimately it will come to individual, for the decision to make, on the deaths of the soldiers, the civilians, and the people. It always reminds me of the President Obama's speech at the academy. This effort to grasp at -- the common sense, what every death means to us, to feel the grievance of the people and the people who know them, just to recognize it, assures me of -- the unity.

They are sending people to Haiti for quake aids, to provide foods, shelters, and water, and to restore orders. It was Ache, Burma, Tibet, Pakistan and this time, Haiti. The poorest under the poor administrations are the victims.

The good news is that the secretary general Ozawa's secretaries got arrested. There should be more to come, in terms of bribes, suicides, people disappeared, and hidden assets -- open secrets. The last case with his boss was with North Korea bribes in gold bars, in some tens of millions of dollars. This is what happens with dealing with countries under dictatorship.

How long it would take for the UNSC to agree on Iran?
