Russia

Russia seems to opening up access and accepting criticisms and even responding to them -- such as its regulation on vodka or releasing activists. As the Ukrainian election is drawing near, I would like to hear from the EU people how they take it. But the answer probably is already there since they declared to ease visa restrictions.

The START treaty will be discussed on 25th. My hope is that they cooperate, in such occasion as in terror attacks, and Iranian nuclear development problems. What seem to be in the way are the Russian demands for the release of missile defense systems' data and the US Republicans' sent a letter saying that they stick to develop even newer nuclear weapons, which they say that they have ten years of advantage, costing huge sums of money.
