The fight against public sectors

The French government is taking measures to tackle its deficits.

The fight against public sectors, which employ 5 millions of people, would be tough enough.  It is a fight against the establishment that they are so proud of.  France is the nation that created education, law, labor union systems.

And yet the politics does look like there is no systems, no rules, just run by individuals.  Its media seems to have been "negative" always on every issues, it does not look like they have been paying any respects of any sorts to any individuals or principles.  They seem to be saying his personal friends mean more than the money he spends on them, or they spend on him.  On that, they should be more specific on their spending, rather than referring to his personal contacts with them.

Two thirds of all French newspapers and magazines are owned by the president''s close friends Serge Dassault and Arnaud Lagardère, France's two main arms manufacturers.

In US's case, the influences of the arms manufacturers are evident in the fact that some of the government's top officials are the former executives in the industry, and in the amount of money they spend on political parties, on the media ads and on lawmakers.

Say, there is this case of Rahm Emanuel who is a friend of President Obama, who has been to Israel, and been receiving money from Jewish organizations.  There is this photo his talking to the President, and it shows the media perception says of some Israel influence to the politics of the US.  But the argument should start in the amount of contributions of the Jewish organizations to the political parties or to lawmakers.

There will be a talk between President Obama and Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu on Tuesday.  The US paved up its ways to the meeting.  The President signed "the toughest-ever" US sanctions on Iran on July 1. The US is to donate $15 million to the Auschwitz-Broirkenau Foundation, if the amount is ok-ed by the Congress.  Could they be taking hostile positions against Islam because of the meeting coming up with Netanyahu?
