There is this video (gunshot ... AK-47) showing the gun battle between the accused then turned criminal and the police squad. He run amok and went into a rampage, shooting at anyone he saw. He tried to escape by a car and caught at highway. The police car attacked his car and stopped it. He was shot to death by the police.
I realize that it is important that the law enforcement officers be civilians, civilized and educated. Would it come before being heroic? The taping clearly shows the intent to make the ordeal heroic deeds by the side of the police. Would it be enough for the people to realize what guns do when they kill people?
I've heard the argument that people can "defend" by the gun possession. I am wondering how they could just do that, watching this clip. There is the counter argument that they would not know whom they should kill when they do own guns. To me, it is not a sane idea just not to limit the possession of guns.
