President Obama spoke about economy at a community college in Ohio. He talked about how great this nation is in that their ancestors from around the globe help build this nation by their toils and sacrifices. He called for bipartisan supports for infrastracture bill and the small business bill.
There was a thunderstorm in the morning yesterday. The lightening must have hit some places close since the interval between the lightening and the sounds were very short. The noises shook the area. There came some rain afterwords.
I bought a nice palm plant pot intended to put in the room. This majesty palm (Ravenea rivularis) is largest plant I have ever bought from a store. Indeed, it turns out that the plant fits better outside than sitting inside the room. Now it sits nicely on the deck with my cactus plants.
There are sections of indoor plants at that store where the plants need to be watered. It is a pity to see plants dry out. It damages the values of the items.
Looking at all the items at the store, I felt the urge for some home projects such as making tables, shelves and boxes. They have such a collection of tools and materials. But currently, I must stick to fixing the items around.
I am going to ask Jane's opinion about the Azalea plant that I intend to put in the garden outside in the patio. The Azalea is a variegated species and should stands out in the shade. I hope it can stand the winter cold outside in this area. I see the damages done by the cold on the roads.
I went to the Winthrop library yesterday and figured out some of the names of plants and animals in the area. There are more that needs to be identified. They have quite a number of DVD's, CD's and books there.
