The selection of sources; President Obama's injury

You never ever try to be creative when you compose in different languages. And you must select the sources. The cartoon phrases are of certain nuances that aim at some dramatic effects. Plainly easy, and indicate turns of events that are easy to draw and represent in pictures. They do not describe subtle nuances of emotion, or the changes in the situation that only are, say, in interpretations.

President Obama had injured at a baseball game.

In cartoons, this situation would be described as him holding wounds with clothes in hands surrounded by people with concerns. Then the reporters trying to get the news in earnest. Then the pictures of the people surprised at the news saying "really?!". Perhaps then the 'get well' cards and letters.

It has not been known who did it. Later the officials released a statement from Rey Decerega, the director of programs for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute that it was he.

In those pictures that tell you what the news are, there is no space for the description of the human drama on either side. The person who did it, the President, the reporters, and the people who are concerned. It reflects the interests of the author. In video, some other factors come into play. You would read thousands of thoughts that might come across their minds in the scene.

He received 12 stitches for the wound on his lips.

The pictures are drawn in such a way that shows the points of view of the author, and none other. The opinions of the President or the reporters to each other would be hard to describe in a picture. The author must prepare other scenes to say the concerns of the President or the interests of the reporters. It would make the work a bit human oriented and deeper. But the fact will not change. The cartoons are more fitted to describe the dramatic turns of events and not the subtle nuances of human emotions.

They used finer threads for the stitches.

On the other hand, novels would look for more in inner thoughts and they are fitted to show the reasonings which are the points of interests of the author, and the way of thinking of people which indeed defines a person. Just because they look for any incidents that effect on other peoples' mind, the novelists tends to abuse other people's emotions. They can be nasty as poets mourning for the lost love and always. The means dictates the purpose. Quoting a poem would probably be more fitted to describe extreme joy or saddness.

They say that the injury was by being hit by the elbow.

The media shapes the personality in this modern world with mass communication. Those who are more familiar with cartoons would look for actions and results regardless of any other development in humanity. They can be brutally inhuman. On the other hand, those who are more familiar with novels would look for the logic and intentions regardless of other factors, which at times defies its purposes.

Let us wish for fast recovery.

Selection of the sources are very important. Learning a language is a lifelong process that takes the efforts of every aspect of your life. It directly is related to the development or changes of your inner self. The more you get familiar with the context, the more you understand the underlining concepts of the society, the more words that you know, and only when you accomplished in those, you would express more of what you are, about the society, and on human nature.
