President Obama spoke in OFA.org radio. He emphasized the importance of tax cuts and the compromises that they creates jobs and are good for the economy. He was blunt about the situation in explaining that the Republicans do not understand the unfairness of tax cuts for the riches.
It is a compromise deal. He does not look bitter about the deal, focused on the point that the cuts will give relief to the middle class. At the end, however, he referred to something of 'disproving the points in everything he has tried to do' but he did not go too far as to say things like small government or tax cuts as economic stimulus.
The former Virginia governor Tim Kaine spoke before President Obama. He said he is already readying for the 2012 election and travels all across the nation. OFA director Jeremy Bird spoke on the radio and said we need to work hard on those issues.
The DREAM Act and DADT repeal will be put to vote soon.
