December 31, 2010

The last day of 2010, was a fine, warm day. The beach was clear and the water was blue. The seagulls were there and their feathers are shining, reflecting the sunshine. Birds do preen and a study says take one third of its time cleaning their feathers by their bills, picking the feathers one by one, smearing oil on them. The birds shed feathers off at certain period of time, depending on the species. Their feathers therefore are always new and shiny.

The sky was blue and there I made my table for my desktop computer. I took a few logs at a time and cut them. Today it is all assembled and now I have a computer desk. A fine item to start a new year.

May the year 2011 brings good fortunes to all.

Gbagbo spoke in an interview. He insisted that he was "elu'(elected)" with some nuance that the ten years of reign gave him the confidence that he knows how to get around. The interviewer asked about ECOWAS's possible deployment of troops. Gbagbo's reaction does not show he values human lives. The interviewer asked about casualties.
