President Obama on US energy policies

President Obama in his speech on the energy policies referred to clean energy and emphasized that the US should be less dependent on foreign oil.

The US consumes 25% of the world's oil and the US has only 2% of the resources.

The President said, the government is going to purchase electric cars and emphasized that the renewable energy technologies will create jobs in the US. Even the US forces use bio fuels.

The President -- finally pronounced the word Japan and said that it is one of the closest allies and is the third largest world economy.

The US is sending 140 special forces to Japan.

Those who died, will not entirely disappear from our minds, they watch us, and keep talking to us, telling us their dreams and aspirations.

The voices, writings, and the faces, are engraved in you talking to you, are part of you, telling you -- they had hoped for the better.

The trust, the ever stronger images that you had, all the hopes that had moved you, that the sources of the warm, solid and assurance that you had for the mankind, ... now is the time to look beyond and think, and think harder still.

It could not have happened -- they should not have done it -- and all you must do is to cope with the situation that does require the entire existence of you to come up with plans, strategies, and policies.
