One of the thing that might be said about Illinois is that, it is big. The roads around here are wide, three lanes each, making them six total. The office buildings are on the side of them, further away beyond green turf. They are magnificent. The harsh Illinois weather, however, damages roads all over and cracks and holes in almost every road. Empty cans were rolling on the road and plastic bags that stuck on cars. The buildings are grand and the parking spaces are plenty. The items in stores, however, are ripped off, at times disorganized, and quite often not aligned and not placed under the right price tags. Some items 're-sealed' for sale are not packaged right.
Except for a few items like Tiffen or Mead, all are made in China. I got a camera case from Tiffen and a binder from Mead so it was worth the trip. They complain of exporting jobs overseas, but has done nothing about it. The Senate has not even posed tariffs on imported goods from China even if they killed the US jobs.
