President Obama spoke on a program broadcasted on Sunday night about the killing of Osama bin Ladin. What I noticed was as follows;
1. The killing may seem as a revenge of attacks he may or may not be involved, and they publicly naming it as such. "The victims and their families got their revenge" (it was not the President who said that). Revenge is a very bad tactics. It mounts even more deaths and hatred that spirals up to more hostile situation. There are more chances of the US being revenged for this attack.
2. The death of Osama bin Ladin brought even more chances of killing by the US forces by the information they found from the building where Osama bin Ladin has been for more than five years. The finding of the information on the Al-Qaida network prompted more killing in Yemen which they could not get them this time. They seem to be declaring the end of Al-Qaida network.
3. In the program, they likened Osama bin Ladin to Hitler. IMHO, Hitler has more in common with the American public than Osama bin Ladin. Because Hitler is from Europe, and the American culture is based upon -- mainly -- Europe. 'Responsibility' states human being for the wealth of the nation and not human otherwise etc.
