Apple's Jobbs announced its plan to open free iCloud accounts this fall. The files can be shared among mobile devices and the desktop computers. This plan include streaming download of music files which are from CD's for fees.
While all the clamor are out there, we already have synchronizing mechanisms here at hand -- with Firefox. Firefox has a bookmark and tabbed open pages synchronizing mechanisms built in in Firefox 4, and add-on in Firefox 3.5 and 3.6. You would be required to open an account from Google, as illustrated nicely here.

The built in iCloud API or of that sort certainly is a nice thing and the way to the future. Apple has taken the leads in the business world and providing such a nice name for the services. Let us hope the move would surely be reflected in here from the 'grassroot' as well.
