The State legislature of NY legalized same sex marriage. It is legal in five other states including Washington DC, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and others.
The race has already begun. While there are few chances that the Democrats would lose the liberal votes, the enthusiasm gap, as they say, is the problem and they need to boost their involvements in the election.
