The United Airlines announced it is hiring 1,300 new jobs in Chicago on Friday. Its President and CEO Jeff Smisek said the new jobs will add Chicago's 4,000 jobs and 14,000 in Illinois. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said "It (Chicago) is one of the most important cities in the world and in the area of aviation, which is a growing sector in this country and growing sector in the world".
The Russia-EU summit was held in Moscow last week. Among the agenda was the food imports and human rights issues. Due to the outbreaks of E. coli in Europe, Russia has suspended all its vegetable imports from EU nations. Russia is to lift the ban.

The currency rate of Euro fell due to the Greece debts problem that amounts to 340 billion Euros. While the bailout talks are underway, the German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble suggested the involvement of the private investors in the bailout, by extending the debt maturities for seven years via a bond swap. The Financial Times and Reuters quoted the comments from sources close to the French government that the French private banks agreed to rollover of the debts. The ECB officials, however, have not agree with the measure.
