President Obama held a online town hall on Tuesday. He answered the questions about economy and job from Twitter comments with the hashtag #AskObama. The session drew hundreds of thousands of questions to the President.
The President referred to the on-going budget deals with the Republicans and emphasized that the wealthy 2% should share the burden when the 'ordinary folks' suffer from the budget cuts including the entitlements such as social security and pensions. He said, the investments to the future such as education, infrastructure, research, and technology are important for job creation.
"The debt ceiling should not be something that is used as a gun against the heads of the American people to extract tax breaks for corporate jet owners, for oil and gas companies that are making billions of dollars because the price of gasoline has gone up so high," -- President Obama
Among the questions was a question from the House majority leader John Boehner. His twitter has a illegible character at the end and he joked about his typing skills.
