The UK riots; The US dreams

I am quite disappointed by the UK's inability to cope with its domestic problems as it should, and can.  This situation is similar to IRA incidents.  This is the way of their cover-ups.  And then of course, the war efforts comes next.

In Libya, they talk about advances of rebels or even capturing the capital city of Tripoli.  If then, the coalition forces must deal with all the weapons now in the hands of rebels as well as Quadaffi's forces.  The people now talk about how Qadaffi was bad -- they are not known for their faithfulness.  They say they are free now -- free to kill.  The fall of a regime is not an end of struggles.

Another disappointment is the US's fancy dreams on 'revolution' as if they talk about election.  Revolution is a collective illegal action where the mightier wins by force.  The war in Iraq should have told them what happens when the fragile law and order are destroyed by violence.

As I watched on TV the shooting in the air to 'celebrate', the another channel is talking about mob attacks.  It showed stitches on face -- he said, he's been told to give up money to survive and even that did not help.  Then I realized -- it actually happened in this nation.  Right here in Chicago.  Not in a lawless jungle area in a developing country.
