The Congress is set to take up the Transportation Bill. The bill, the Surface and Air Transportation Programs Extension Act (H.R. 2887) would extend the program and the funding. The bill includes funding measures for FAA, Federal Aviation Administration as well.
The jobs at stake differs from state to state. So how many jobs are risked by this bill in each state? The number of jobs at risk by this bill is shown above.
How is it compared to the states' GDP? The figure below shows the ratio of the number of jobs to the state GDP. It seems like, the jobs are given where they are needed most.
