President Obama answered questions at LinkedIn townhall; Car sales in Saudi Arabia

President Obama spoke in the online LinkedIn session and answered questions on the American Jobs Act.

Since it was an online session, many of the questioners were in the IT industry. One of the questioner introduced himself as a retired at will well-to-do IT professional from Silicon Valley and pressed the President for fairer taxation system on the rich.

The President reassured that the investments in education, science and technology, and social security are important for the making the United States competitive in the 21st century.

The Saudi Arabian government prohibits women from driving. It says driving would increased the risk of women encountering with male.

This is a grave issue for any female living in that nation, along with the high number of car accidents in that country. In a way, it matters more for every ordinary wonen to be able to go out on their own, than being granted the right to vote. A few years to the election -- but you would like to go out just tomorrow for grocery shopping. Considering the size of the nation, it would be difficult to install public transportation system available for everyone.

This is a big business opportunity as well for all auto makers in the world as it will increase the number of people that drive. The market is right there -- not only for the riches in the nation but also the emerging middle class that look for ways to go out on their own. Why should they not go in and press for sales?

Let us hope, as the people spoke up just this spring, the nation will find a pathway for all women for prosperity and, say, fair ways to live their life.
