President Obama spoke in New Hampshire on the American Jobs Act.
The President referred to the payroll tax cuts for the middle class that is in the American Jobs Act. He said if Congress does not act, the payroll tax cuts are to expire, which would cost $1,500 per typical household.
The President said, the bill will be voted upon again as a "Thanksgiving treat".
"In the spirit of Thanksgiving we're going to give them another chance. ... If they vote no again the typical family's taxes are going to go up $1000." (President Obama)
Let us hope "the Party of Tax Cuts" and "the Protector of the Middle Class" would think twice before voting against the extension.
