The results of the Iowa GOP primary yesterday came out -- Mitt Romney got the most votes closely followed by Rick Santorum and Rand Paul.
They say; Mitt Romney had the money and the party's backing; Rick Santorum got the votes from the born-again and evangelical conservatives in Iowa; Rand Paul appealed to the youths and those who prefer a smaller government, namely smaller budgets and lower taxes.
The record number of turnout 122,255 voted for the hotly contested primary.
