Does nobody care about the deficit?

Does nobody care about the deficit?

The Pew Research Center reported based upon Sept 22 - Oct 4, 2011 survey that 43% of all being asked the question issues that matter most in the Presidential election do indeed care about the budget deficit.

The top issue of the list is the jobs at 63%.  When the unemployment rate at 8.3%, and the President Obama is more favored than the former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney in the new Washington Post-ABC News.

The debts are, something that would never go away unless you pay for them, in form of taxes.  The interests on the debts accumulates: in 2018, the amount the government pays for interests will surpass the defense budget.  Eating the future economic growth, is indeed a dangerous path that would get the economy trapped in the 'spiral of debts'.

The research shows clearly people do care about the debts and the inevitable consequences, namely, tax hikes.  We care about the jobs.  But we also care about deficits as well.

The President is to submit his complete budget proposal to Congress on Feb. 13.

Let us remind President Obama and the Congress our concerns on the deficit and their responsibilities.  It is, after all, our tax money.
