Update: The Senate is to take up Repeal Big Oil Tax Subsidies Act of 2012


The Senate is to take up "Repeal Big Oil Tax Subsidies Act" of 2012 (S.2204) on Monday, March 26, 2012.

It will repeal the subsidies that amounts to billions of our tax money to the "Big 5" oil companies under various names such as the foreign tax credit, dual capacity rules, the domestic manufacturing deduction, expensing of intangible drilling costs, percentage depletion costs and the tertiary injectants deduction.
