Hollande elected;Greek, Serbia, Romania to vote again; Putin sworn in; Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike
The election in France gave the long time PS's leader Francois Hollande the win on Sunday. The new French President is to inaugurate on May 15 and will head for G8 and NATO summit in the States. The new ministers would be announced this week.
-- Greek voted to give the coalition parties less than half of its parliamentary seats. The surprise win of the far-right neo-Nazi party and the possible collapse between the parties are shaking up its financial market. It may face another election if the talk does not produce results.
-- Serbia is to face a run-off to elect its President in May 20.
-- Romania is to hold confidence vote today.
-- Russia's Putin is sworn in again as the President of Russia. Tens of thousands of people protested in Moscow prior to the inauguration calling out for political reforms.
-- Thousands of Palestinian prisoners in Israel are in a hunger strike, some in critical conditions.
Where is the plan?
The overspending and debt amounts to $16.4 trillion. Another debt ceiling rise is imminent. The borrowing cost exceeds $200 billion. The Administration sold off AIG stocks.
Can or should the Administration keep spending money with or without our criticisms? Is it too wise for taxpayers and not lawmakers talking about overspending? Us the 99% do not get the kickbacks except those political elites. Thinking about the next election? How do they analyze the midterm?
Us the taxpayers have nothing to do with the election cycle. We must pay taxes regardless of who is up there. I do not get the point; where is the plan?
