Sunday again

It's Sunday today.  A rather special one, for the NATO summit will be held in Chicago.  The war in Afghanistan will be on the agenda.  Hopefully we can end the massacre and invasion quickly and smoothly.

Yesterday, I went to a recycle store again called Sparrow's Nest.  This is a special place where people donate the goods and the sales will go to the needy.  The people there are quite something.  Thank you Diane, and Catherine!  God bless you for your good deeds and thoughts.

Every time I look at the sofa's and tables being thrown away, wasted, I think of the store.  It is such a good idea to get those items in use for someone else.  The money they pay for will go to those who needed the most.

I had the honor to meet with the person who is in charge of the decoration of the store.  Maha, said it is just inspiration that strikes her to arrange them.  The store is looking fabulous.

The question of who needs charity, is another question.  What puzzles me is in this town is occasional encounter with "beggars" that sand in the middle of the street asking for money.  Is it safe?  Is it moral? Is it socially acceptable?  And again, who is to decide?  Do they have the freedom?
