The US lawmakers sent letters to the President for prompt withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. The opinion polls have been long against it. More than 3000 died including more than 1800 US troops. Little attention on reports coming from Afghanistan showing constant victims of war on both sides.
In such a case, the NATO show of power, the scheme that killed thousands troops, and a lot more of the civilians, is going to end. The corruption cases of Karzai, kickbacks of lawmakers, and bribes from the military do not justify the war.
The new French cabinet is to convene today.
