Elections and Democracies: cases in France, Greece, and Egypt


France voted on Sunday.  The exit polls show the left wings will dominate the majority of the seats.  The French President Hollande's PS party won the absolute majority. 

The exit polls in Greece shows neck-and-neck support for both ND and Syriza parties.  Syriza's new young leader is accused to be a left-wing populist and an agitator, who insists to end austerity and risks 'grexit' or its exit from the euro zone. 

Egypt voted for its President on Sunday.  Meanwhile, the Egyptian supreme court, whose judges were chosen by the Mubarak's regime, order to dissolve the parliament where Brotherhood and Salafi parties dominate.
