Even this flag is made in China
So what is it to get wiser?  The answer is, just to learn to do anything you can when nothing stop you from doing or saying so.  If you do or say nasty things to your neighbors and you get no nothing.  When you bully a fellow student and cut his hairs for his attitude and you learn you get nothing by doing so, then you learn; you can do that much without getting caught. That is learning is all about.  Knowing the limit of your ability and power.

Being able to explore the limit of what you can do, can be a merit in living this wild place.  The consequences are out of your ability to predict -- especially when you do not think of them.  At least for a short period of time, you would feel free.  Many seek to find a way to be free without thinking of consequences anyway.  Drugs won't free you permanently.  Drinks would only last for a night or even a few hours.  If you use your credit cards, they momentarily give you the freedom and power albeit for a very short period of time.

Seeking the possibility and finding out is how we learn about life.  The human personalities are formed by the process and the reactions of others surround them.  If you cross the road altogether then you would be safe even if the signals are red.  You learn your limits by the results as you take them.  Did they satisfy you?  Did they please others?

If you are smart enough, have some ability to make analogies, or pessimistic rather, then you might come to some feels of guilt.  Was that the cause of the bankruptcy of the company, or the nation if we spend too much, borrowing too much?  How did they raise taxes in those nations already?  How is it that the Chinese military expansion is not the topic of foreign policies any more?  How could it be the consequences of spending and borrowing at this rate?

People learn; and they learn by looking at reactions of the people in the society.  Shame is a notion that only be found within each one of us if only be urged to do so by the teachings of some ethical stand points of view.  Some liberals are even ashamed to be ashamed, much in the same way as the Soviet Union denied human greed.  Shame is within us; greed is within us; only those principles and dogmas prevent us from naming them.
