President Obama signed the bill on Friday to extend the measure that halves the student loan rate for a year, and fund infrastructure project across the nation.
While the school's administrative division get high salaries, there seems to have been no measures were taken to lower the cost of education. The former University of Illinois administrator Craig Bazzani received $2.7 million over the last decade ($365,000 extra, and counting).
The state senate of California approved high speed railway projects and electrifying some of the existing lines. The senate approved the bill that funds the project by $2.6 billion rail bond funds and $3.2 billion from the federal government. The US infrastructure ranks 16th in the World Economic Forum's report.
