There are Twitter responses to comments on assault weapons ban. Here is one: in answer to the retweet "Besides mass killers, who needs an assault weapon?" Linoge answered simply "Easy: me".
I believe Linoge is had not drawn the line between what should be put away from the hands of citizens for safety. So I answered:

@bobaberry The law reduced the incidence of assault weapons used in crime by 66% between 1994 to 2004 according to the Brady report.
