CTU strikes; GOP's weekly address

The schools in Chicago are closed.  CTU, Chicago Teachers Union members and supporters are marching the street of Chicago claiming the Mayor Emanuel is to be blamed upon.  The Obama Administration urged the both parties to come to a solution as soon as possible.  The GOP's Presidential candidate Mitt Romney issued a statement that demand the teachers to get back to work.  The GOP's VP candidate Rep. Paul Ryan said he agree with the city mayor for this issue.

Sen. Jon Barroso (R-WY) in his GOP's weekly address accused the Obama Administration for bad economic records.  The senator made forceful arguments that despite all the bailout money that had added to the deficits which amount to $16 trillion now, the unemployment rates are over 8%.  One in seven is receiving food stamps.  The competitiveness of the US is going down for another year.  The gas prices are up.  He claims the Republican party has the solutions to all those problems without getting into specifics where they are to cut to balance the budget and what costs us the tax money the most.  If he does not look so much like a crooked villain, well over one trillion dollar deficits for the four consecutive year might be convincing enough for the voters to say we can not afford to have Obama for another four years in the office.

Some accuse the Bush Administration for the debts.  Be that as it may, what the Obama Administration had to do is to turn the nation around and not trying to spend the equal amount of money as his predecessor did.  This is typically the Obama's way -- playing along with the same rules as the enemies do, always ended up with a "race to the bottom".  Obama is an excellent election machine but his administrative skills are disputed.  Is this a fair way to solve problems?  Let us hope he will come up with solutions that solve the debt issue -- and hope they are such that do not drag the whole world along.
