- The elementary and universal education started out not in the States but in France. Fundamental knowledge on sciences and social sciences, languages and math, technologies and to know how things work, that is what the word education means. It started out when people were beginning to realize education means power. They realized that we need to know more to counter taxation by the overspending government so fond of wars.

The debts would never go away unless they are paid back. Romney said rightfully we must question before whether it is worth spending the borrowed money from China while saying he would open the market -- to China. In that, he would be creating 12 million jobs -- in China. For fairness, he said he would be looking for fair trade practices.
President Obama did not meet the Dalai Lama the last time he visited the States. He met with Aung San Suu Kyi instead. I can not find credible source that Romney had met the Dalai Lama. In Tibet, people are dying, killed, and committing suicides to protest. Human lives are cheap there and the rule is brutal and merciless. It is also systematic. This is a place where 'humanity' is termed as 'sweetness' a fatally negative connotation in politics there.
We need awareness on this issue both inside and outside. Changing it inside would require them to democratize. While agitation may or perhaps may not lead to solutions, pressuring the Chinese government at this point is not as hard as making them recognize the importance of free media.
