Columbus and IMF

Yesterday was so-called Columbus Day.  They way people celebrated the day, however, differs from their stand points of view.

Is it the European arrogance that claims their 'discovery' defines the existence of America?  America was for the native Americans before they invade it.

To speak of the contrast, Bank of America was closed yesterday.  On the other hand, Morgan Chase was open.

Whether the inner or outer European elements affect you most may depends on what you may know of them.

In any case, the European economic crisis is the issue at the Tokyo IMF meeting where 188 nations gather to discuss issues of debts.

Let us hope we will find a way to get out of the debts without harming the economy.  Let us hope we will go forward not to the fiscal cliff but on a responsible and manegeable pathway for the nation, for the region, and for the world.
