Extending the middle class tax cuts

Eating for survival

The Palatine Democrats team held a meeting last night.  We celebrated 332-206 victory of the Obama team, and vowed to fight for our cause: the fight for the middle class.

President Obama in his press conference yesterday insisted he could reach an agreement on extending the tax cuts for the middle class as early as next week.  The Congress need to reach deals before the end of the year to extends tax cuts for the middle class.  If the extension does not pass the legislature, the middle class might suffer tax hikes as much as in thousands of dollars.

We should be telling those in Congress now that -- each every one of them who vote against the middle class will see our rage in coming elections.  If they want the votes, they must vote for the middle class, not for the rich donors.  The voters matter, not campaigning.  And the political campaigns altered its ways over the years. We need to name our enemies, the names of who are responsible for the fiscal mess.

Let us hope the Congress will work together for us.  Let us hope they would know by now how the low approval rate of the Congress de-elect the midterm winners.  Let us hope the corrupt Washington will heed us if not for the next election then for the economy.
