Filibuster; Guns; Sen. Kerry's hearing

- The Senate passed the filibuster reform bill on Thursday that modify the rule slightly to make it easier to pass laws and confirm nominations. 


- Sen. Feinstein (D-CA) and others introduced regulations on guns. 

- There was a senate hearing on Sen. John Kerry's nomination for Secretary of State. 


Peace is only attainable through discipline and restraints, since the force and force alone can not bring peace and stability, proven in war torn zones where over a million civilians are killed by civil wars.

 There is the need for laws to catch criminals, not military operations.
