- The Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is to meet with President Obama today. After consecutive unpopular prime ministers from left wing DJP, LDP's PM Abe is enjoying wide support in now recovering economy.
- In Tunisia, the ruling party Ennahada named a new leader Ali Laarayedh that will succeed Prime Minister Hamadi Jabali. Jabali resigned from his office after the confusion that followed the death of the opppostion leader near his residence.
- Egypt is to have the first stage of parliamentary elections in April. The last election resulted in more than 70% of the seats occupied by Islamists. The pro-Mubarak supreme court of Egypt resolved the parliament.
- Knoppix is a CD bootable Linux operating system. Some applications work better on Knoppix than on Windows platform. MySQL runs faster, PHP runs faster, subsequently, my systems work faster.
- Whoever finally came up with the idea that standard connectors and it is just about everything in computing that can change the world; Raspberry Pi runs and runs X on Linux system.
- The new first female President of South Korea is to be sworn in on 25th of this month.
