More than 17,000 people commit suicides by guns each year. That means 80 people die each day by guns. How could the senators vote no on gun background checks? Her answer was short. "It's money" she said.
The Illinois Senate passed the resolution on overturning Citizens United on Tuesday. We are hoping to get it passed in the House as well.
