President Obama on Thursday made a speech at National Defense University.
The theme of his speech was: freedom must be fought but wars come an end in the end.
Let us ask this: were the wars necessary?
Over a decade, the US is fighting against terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan.
President Obama said we must clarify who's targeted and why and that the nature of wars must be defined.
Thousands died and trillions have been spent on wars. Afghan war is coming to an end. The troops will come home by 2014. The Al-Qaeda is on the path to defeat. They are not the ones behind attacks in Benghazi nor in Boston.
The President also referred to the risk of the US existence in Pakistan.
Let us ask this: what exactly do they teach in Pakistani schools paid by the US tax money?
President Obama guaranteed he is responsible for every attacks.
The President emphasized that force alone can not prevent terrorism. The Administration took measures to work with domestic Muslim communities.
On Guantanamo, the President claimed the Congress set limitations on closing Gitmo and that these restrictions make no sense. President Obama reaffirmed that he would ask DOD to transfer detainees for trials and to other countries case by case.
Let us ask this: is anything happening this time?
Let us pray for the Guantanamo prisoners. More than 100 prisoners are on hunger strikes. The hunger strikes are on for more than 100 days. More than 87 prisoners have been already cleared for release. Around 30 are forced fed.
After the WWI, the socialist party took over the office. The socialist party signed the humiliating treaty after the war. All the while they are in the office, the left wing communists revolted against the socialist government, which countered them with the use of force. The disappointed German public turned to nationalists.
