On Education

Only 70% graduate high schools in the States

 Money in education is important and stability of teachers' position is important.  That, however, should not raise our taxes.  Not iPad's but maybe Android tablets, is my opinion. 

The end results are this: those who can not connect their notion of science with the surroundings: everything they look at in nature is exactly what science tells us.  Knowing the diversity of living creatures, the way they function in the ecology, the shapes and colors. 

How much we should spend on education and how the teachers unions should be in our politics is something else that has other importance.  The teachers union has been fighting against the city of Chicago.  The head of the schools just quit over the protests last year. 

But here is this: the safety.  How could anyone concentrate on studying when streets are not safe?  The gun issues are not all-or-nothing argument.  The gun background checks are of necessity.
