Cordray confirmed; Holder blasts gun laws

- The Senate working: Richard Cordray is confirmed by the Senate as director of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

So who's afraid of filibuster?  -- Republicans (The filibuster is dead. Long live the filibuster.).

- The Justice Department has taken up the Zimmerman's case.  One of the jury told Zimmerman's act of pursuing Martin was legal under the "Stand Your Ground" law.  Attorney General Eric Holder claimed the law undermines our security. 

If you subscribe to "Gun Deaths" at Twitter, you would get streamlined tweets of gun deaths.  It indeed overwhelms me when I think of the lives of those who have been killed.  We pay taxes; where does the money go?  Roads?  Education?  Welfare?  Food stamps?  What of it if the streets are not safe?

- Panama caught North Korean ship which was carrying weapons.

- Myanmmar declared it will release all of its political prisoners in coming years.
