The President promised to let the people know more about the US surveillance over its citizens and abroad. The US government allegedly monitor phone calls and keeps records of emails to prevent terrorist attacks.
President Obama said on Snowden who leaked the information when asked what he thinks of him, that he does not believe he is a patriot. If he thinks he is right, he could legally bring out the issue to public. He also touted he signed the executive order to protect whistle blowers.
On his cancellation with talk with Putin, President Obama claimed the Russian counterpart should cooperate or any talks would be useless. He used the term "bored school kid" to describe Putin and said we should look to the future. He admitted he had better relationship with his predecessor Medvedev.
On Benghazi attacks, the President proclaimed the United States will catch the suspect that caused the tragedy.
The US embassies around the globe closed down due to terror threats are to be open next week.
On healthcare issue, the President said we all should be covered and that many already have benefited from the Affordable Care Act. Which, would mean higher premiums that should have been compensated by more people buying insurance. When asked why he picked and chose the provision that mandate the employees to buy insurance for the employees to delay for a year, he said the GOP lawmakers are throwing people out on the street.
President Obama expressed support on the Senate's immigration bill. The President claimed it is good for the housing market as well since they consist of a large portion of the home buyers.
