G20 Summit opens


 In St. Petersburg, leaders of G20 held talks on issues including the budget, bank regulations, economy, and security.  Syria is also the issue.

The UN secretary general accused of the possible unilateral military assault on sovereign nation without UN Security Council mandate.


Meanwhile, the Senate committee approved 90 days military attacks on Syria by 10-7 votes yesterday.  Sen. Menendez, Boxer, Cardin, Shaheen, Coons, Durbin, Kaine, Corker, Flake, McCain voted for the resolution.  Sen. Markey did not vote.

Now the world leaders are under pressure to show support for possible Syrian massacre by Tomahawk cruise missiles.  The Chinese President Xi said any military action will raise the prices of oil.

Here's the question: who are talking about bringing both sides to negotiation tables?  Who really are talking about the people in Syria?

Pope Francis is to host a vigil on Saturday for Syria.  He calls out for fasting against military aggression in Syria.
