President Obama spoke in NY and reiterated he will work on high tuition cost that deprive the US students of the opportunity for high education.  Just over 70% students graduate high schools in this country.  The college costs are one of the obstacles that the nation's high school students must pass for getting higher education beside surviving shooting incidents and avoiding the danger of being shot by the police carrying fake guns. 

Give us good ideas that lowers the tuition costs, he said. 

The President also referred to the budget problems.  The deficit is halved, again he emphasized, from what he set out in 2009.  Since the time he took office, the yearly deficit amounts have been over $1 Trillion (with a capital T).  With the amount of debt, he no longer can not ask for more stimulus money when the recession is over.  The amount accumulated is huge.  Just last week, the debt jumps a record $328 billion.  The national debt stands at over $17 trillion now. 

Budget cuts, he ridiculed, they are obsessed with that. 

President Obama said we must pass the comprehensive Immigration Reform.  This is a nation of immigrants.  This is a nation of opportunities.  Cheap labor with no benefit is bad for this nation's security.  The reform is long overdue.  While it is not only those without paper that are not covered by any health insurance, the wealth disparity has threaten this nation with high crime rates and lack of the feels of unity in this nation. 

Think of what you can do, he said. 

So then let's think how we can lower the tuition costs.  There are things that can be done about the high tuition rates.  Among those limiting salaries and bonuses, esp. college board of trustees.  Limiting the money they receive in total say under a million would save tuition hikes.  Colleges are public institutes.  They receive our tax money because of their public services.  Namely, they should not be for profit so long as they receive our tax money. 

Let's think how can balance the budget.  The budget must be balanced by either cutting spending or raising taxes.  Or print dollars and wait the inflation or a partial default will nullify the debt.  The board of directors of big universities with billion dollar budgets must balance the budget. 

How about immigration laws?  All that required probably are termed as "leadership" or "administering" for the issue.  The Senators must vote for the Immigration reform bills.  Who pays for their pet projects? 

President Obama listens and that is very democratic, which includes 35 world leaders for that matter.  The democracy, however, can demand answers from the elected officials that we voted for.  The national debt is threatening our economy, and weakened the US influences around the globe.
