Shutdown continues

It is about our tax monay
Obamacare costs $260 to $300 billion a year.  Why is the figure not up front in the discussion of the topic?

President Obama has argued that all the talk surround Obamacare, another name for ACA, Affordable Care Act is all but an ideological war against offering the US citizens essential health coverage.

While his perception of government shutdown may be about principles, there are other arguments over government shutdown, namely, the budget.

President Obama canceled his trip to East Asia amid political turmoil over budget.  Planned talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin is cancelled as well.

The budget talk costs the credibility of the US as well as its influence in the world.  The tax payers will have to pay the money we owe by China and Japan.  The House speaker Boehner has reportedly stated he won't back down and fight for spending cuts.  Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) was quoted saying:

“The longer this goes on, the more educated the general public will be, the better understanding they will have, and the more they will agree that what we’re doing is fighting to protect America from an insolvency and bankruptcy that those who are financially irresponsible in Washington seem not to care one twit about”
