ACA: Why are we getting all those cancellation notices?

Not to be used for bribing politicians
People are upset about ACA, Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare.  Why are we getting all those cancellation notices?

Insurance companies are upset about the change of the system.  Lawmakers are paid by those companies, a lot.  The media is creating sensational coverage of people who are stuck with the notion the US should be the only exceptional nation that could ever successfully insure people by for-profit private companies even when their sole purpose is making money out of who needs the services the most.  What do you expect? The premiums skyrocket and there still is no word out accusing the insurance companies.

In this nation, when you get sick, you must worry about the money and your health.  That maybe a common place notion among all undeveloped nations.  If your stomach hurts, you think of a doctor and the payments.  In the "The Good Earth" story -- that is a story in China in ancient times -- the woman refuses treatment because it is costly (and ineffective).  The research says, some good number of people here in the States refuse prescribed medicines just because of the prices.  In 21st century United States, we must be fearful of the high prices of those drugs.  The prices of drugs are several times as expensive as the international standards.  The unthinkable happens when lawmakers are paid by pharmaceutical companies.

Because of ACA, because of the change of the system, we now have some coverage for the middle class.  The uninsured won't lose the life savings just when they get sick or injured.  You work, you save the money, and then you would be risking the entire savings just by not having insurance.  Over 60% of all cases of bankruptcies in the States are because of this; the medical costs.  The premiums are expensive; and the medical costs are even more expensive.  People bankrupt for it; yes, in this richest nation on earth.  Where does the money go?

Now that we have changed the way insurance companies charge us with expensive monthly fees, the grand scheme of premium hikes are jeopardizing the fate of the plan.  Where do we go then?  Where are the Democrats we can rely upon?  Are there moderate Republicans that care about the uninsured?  Think -- you'd be in the position when you lose your jobs.  Not, if you do not, and that has been their points ever since -- but just think.  Lifetime savings -- gone, just when you get sick.  And are the premiums not expensive or what?  Why do you let those companies charge us?  Is it not the time we should make some changes the way we get insured?

President Obama did what all his predecessors could not.  The Administration changed the system how we get covered.  Now the backlash.  The changes come slowly, and from the bottom up.  When the media influence is not something absolute anymore, we should be hearing voices against their biggest sponsors; the insurance companies.  They came up with a plan; they conspired and raised premiums.  How do we counter their threats?

Now comes the Market Place.  Is is where we can compare insurance plans.  Could it be the greatest enemy of those rich insurance companies?  How are they taking the pressure of the free market? Fortunately for the companies, unfortunately for the uninsured, the site is experiencing 'technical' difficulties.  Granted it is a very complicated system.  Many people access the site, all at once.  They want the coverage.  Compare the plans, know your rights, and get covered.  The system must get fixed, and soon.  The nation which created and maintained akamai server successfully, can not handle all those healthcare insurance applications?  This is a nation which created Walmart and its pricing system.  Why does the system not work for insurance plans?  Let people search for affordable plans.

The political pressure is great and is the greatest when the elections are at stake.  The Republicans are vying for the seat and the competition should not be all bad.  But where are the plans?  Of both sides?
