Upward Mobility: The U.S. Lags Behind
- President Obama spoke on equal opportunities yesterday.  The upward mobility of the US is lower than in other OECD nations, with the exception of the UK. 

Raise the minimum wage
- The fast food workers are on stroke today.  In more than 100 cities across the nation, the minimum wage workers stood up demanding the wage increase to the level of 'a living wage'.  Contrary to the belief that the minimum wage jobs are only temporary, the statistics say the average age of the fast food minimum wage workers is over 30. 
1 in 5 of those employed make under $12 per hour

- Vice President Biden was in Beijing and reportedly negotiated a peaceful solution to ADIZ problem.  China has set ADIZ over disputed Senkaku island and has demanded flight plans before any planes go over the region.  The US and allies are asking China to repeal the decision.  The talk reportedly lasted more than hours.

- Thousands of Ukrainians took to street in protest against the government decision not to sign the accord with the EU.  The Ukrainian government says it is open to talk with the oppositions.  High level talk will be held this weekend with the leaders of the EU.
