President Obama on Immigration issues: reactions

The US media lost one of the best opportunities for winning viewers by banning the President's speech.  I was talking to my friend P on the issue, who did not refute my opinion out right in that the labor union funded senior members of Democratic party opposed broadcasting his speech.  Or was it the media conglomerates that pressured the TV stations?

President Obama is doing the right thing for us, challenged the Republicans and Democrats.  The audience would know it, and responded accordingly for whatever he says, making claims against the Congress and Republicans.  Immigration Reform is one of his major campaign promises, and people voted for them.

On the other hand, Sen. Ted Cruz spoke on the President's action on the immigration issues.  The Senator spoke on TV that GOP will not confirm any of appointments unless the President take it back.  The commentator asked: Does that mean Attorney General Eric Holder will stay?
