Imagine a following situation: you must work under a boss that are
from poor background and he says it out like that is something he can
be proud of. He claims he has not had the chance to go through proper
education to be nice. Then, therefore, he openly claims it is for him
right to say something like:
Hey, you. What are you? Be brave. Are you weak? Attack that woman.
He is indeed not an educated nice person. He is not even conscientious. He lacks moral. He is evil. Or plainly stupid.
Is this sort of provocation a joke?
Now consider the situation like this: he is a popular figure. Whenever he talks, he gathers a large crowd. People listen to him, admire him, and laugh at his jokes.
Hearing what he says, all the followers of him now turns out saying:
Hey boss, right, that's what we mean. Let us attack that woman. If she says no, we do not care.
The followers are taking the advantage of him now. Here comes yet another situation: the customers and his rivals come out and say the same thing.
Yes sir, right, that's what we mean. Let us attack that woman. If she says no, we do not care.
No matter how that boss is a popular figure, no matter how funny he is, no matter how people are willing to sacrifice their money or in this case conscience, probably it is fair to say he does not deserve a friend or a leader.
The weak is the followers that laugh at his jokes. If someone come out and say that is not right and stop polishing the apple, -- then the world would be so much better.
