At my office, during the usual chitchat, there is this talk of Hillary's running mate. Who would be her running mate? A young and popular someone that can get along with her agenda, perhaps like President Obama as the initial plan of his being the opponent in 2008 election? A leftist like Bernie? A conservative perhaps?
The SNS is flooded with negative comments againt Hillary. The running mate might certainly help. Bernie is popular online. Obama is immensely popular online and off line. For that matter, he still is looking fresh perhaps after hearing Trump or Hillary. No wonder. His problem setting is people oriented and sympathetic. He brings out of the agenda out of necessity, taking up the voices of people that need help.
His agenda has been the same. Mostly much like what Sanders is saying. Student loan problem, healthcare, social security, financial reform and social disparity. Their approaches would be different, however. President Obama talked about the student loan problem, brought out the individual cases and set some regulation on banks. Could Hillary or Sanders take a different approach and bring out different results?
As that talking of a running mate is itself draws attention and brings support for her camp, she may not be putting that out soon. Or the selection process may bring division within the party as in the case with Trump. Let us keep our fingers crossed.
