Catalonia parliament declared independence.
Some 90% of Catalans voted for independence on the bloody Oct. 1st referendum which the Spanish central government does not recognize. On Thursday, the Catalonia's PM Puigdemont suggested an election for avoiding the application of Article 155 that imposes a direct rule by the state. The Spanish government refused. The Catalonian parliament voted on Friday for independence. Our front page: Hello, Catalonia!
