War criminals

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan resigned after weeks of protests. For the well-being of millions of Armenians, in terms of political and economic aspects of them, in the light of democracy, this could be nothing but a blessing, which perhaps they deserve.

The former Soviet Union state has contended Turkey should recognize the Armeian massacre. Now Turkey itself is in turmoil facing yet another election coming up in months. As Azerbaijan is a close ally of Turkey, the resignation may indeed be a blessing for Turkey.  As German Chancellor Merkel is coming this week, the good news may give her more backing facing the challenging task of confronting with the US President, while Germany has banned Turkish Presidential campaigns in their own land.

There have been territorial disputes between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which necessitated the former Soviet state the support from Russia. The resignation of the ally certainly would anger Moscow. Russian President Putin has allies worldwide; that includes Israel, which Turkish President Erdogan claimed a terror state. A terror state? What is a terror state? If a nation air-raids a sovereign nation, would that be a terror state?

The US has bombed Syria for what its claim of using chemical weapons, while the US has perhaps the largest reservoir of chemical weapons, as claimed by Russia. Despite the pressure, however, a handful of nations participated in the bombardment. Among the nations that openly opposed the bombardment, is Canada. All other nations' muted opposition with the disguise, or the true support by the leaders fell on deaf ears of the hardliner in the States, lead by the Bushes, Bolton, Pompeo, Haley, Rice and all those evangelists. They are the war criminals.
